Lou Hutto, owner of LowCo Barbecue & Catering in Columbia SC grew up in historic Georgetown SC where he loved watching and learning from generations of family and friends master the art of Lowcountry cuisine. He learned that taking the time to cook fresh, regional ingredients always made the mouths he was feeding satisfied. Lou specializes in slow, pecan smoked, whole hogs, shoulders, brisket, ribs and chicken. All of our barbecue is seasoned with our own rub and accompanied by our family recipe vinegar based sauce.
